Please remember when buying vintage purses there are normally minor imperfections unless these are very noticable or detract from the style or attractiveness of the item they are not normally mentioned.
LOOKING FOR PERFECTION - VINTAGE IS NOT FOR YOU!
(Mint Condition) MINT - As close to "new" as possible for its age. No problems.
(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.

Striking 60's "Nicholas Reich" colorful silk evening purse. The colors are very vibrant as only silk can produce. The frame is gold metal with a long bar latch covered with the same silk fabric. The gold metal chain is wristlet length. The interior is lined with jade green grosgrain with two open slash pockets and a small zippered sidewall pocket. Enchanting black cashmere wool handbag from the 40's. A graceful curved brushed brass frame accented with a shell cameo on each end. The toggle latch is also adorned with a larger cameo. Created for Neiman Marcus stores is this charming tiny beaded "Butterfly" purse. This type of beaded purse is featured on page 93 of Popular Purses. "It's in the Bag" 2001. Vintage purses since the publishing of this book has gained tremendously in value. Each year vintage handbags grow in value and collectablity. The interior of this purse is lined in black satin with a tiny open sidewall pocket. Each side has the same Butterfly.
