Tucked away and never used since the 60's is this petite lovely textured black leather evening satchel by "Dofan". Beautiful gold colored cobra link wristlet length handles are anchored with tiny porcelain cameos. The scene is to Renaissance lovers. Both the front and back are the same. The interior is lined with black satin with a slash pocket lined with white satin and an open pocket. The latch is a stunning gold metal flower dotted with tiny bright rhinestones. EXQUISITE!

This 40's Du Bonnette "ACCORDION PURSE" is one of the most sought after vintage purses. Not only because of the UNIQUE style but these handbags did not travel through time well and very few are in good condition. This stunning purse was a great time traveler and there is only on small crack to a bottom corner of one of the Lucite bars. The bar is still strong and workable. All the carnival beads are intact. The color is phenomenal in deep iridescent hues of forest green. The Lucite accordion works perfectly and stretches out to show off the three separate compartments lined in black satin. All the bars pivot perfectly on brass hinges. Two of the compartments have a slash pocket trimmed with gold piping. The back compartment has a zippered pocket. Anna Johnson features this style purse on page 191 in the “Power of the Purse”. MARVELOUS and SO RARE!

Haute Couture black wool box purse from the 40's. Both the front and back have a gathered ruche design. A large solid brass round toggle latch sits demurely on top. The interior is sumptuous, lined in black satin with two slash pockets one lined in burnt orange satin the other black satin with gold piping. There is a black satin coin purse trimmed with burnt orange satin and has a tiny gold metal chain that is attached to the lining. There is also a small zippered sidewall pocket. The label states" Best & Co, 5th Avenue New York". RUNWAY CHIC!

A large black velvet UNIQUE novelty evening purse from the 70's. Embellished on the front are three lovely hats. The largest rests in a hatbox with the name of " Chapeaux Exquis, Rue De La Paix". This hat is made with pale green velvet. The band is fuchsia velvet with tiny bright rhinestones. A pale pink and pale green velvet ribbon hangs demurely from the band. The painted gold detail of the box and two smaller hats is very beautiful. Even the smaller hats have rhinestone detail.
