Please remember when buying vintage purses there are normally minor imperfections unless these are very noticable or detract from the style or attractiveness of the item they are not normally mentioned.
LOOKING FOR PERFECTION - VINTAGE IS NOT FOR YOU!
(Mint Condition) MINT - As close to "new" as possible for its age. No problems.
(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.
(Rest assured I do not sell handbags that are not attractive or fit to carry.)

A divine RARE evening purse from the 30's. Black patterned crepe with a large clock in the center of a brass trimmed window. The clock still keeps perfect time and is marked Majestime. The label is no longer present but I am sure this is a "Graceline" design. The interior is lined with black satin with a small open pocket The clock rests in its own pouch and has a satin ribbon with a snap to keep the clock in place. CHARMING! A VERY RARE UNIQUE wondrous black grosgrain evening purse from the 40's. A long flared structure with the flap trim a Elephant made of tortoise colored Lucite. The Elephant has a whimsical flair. Reluctantly I am taking this lovely late 90's handbag out of my private collection. The London-based designer Nathalie Hambro is well-known handbag and jewelry designer. She is also an author of and her book "The Art of The Handbag" 1999 is a pictorial book showcasing her purse designs. This Nathalie Hambro "Egg Bag" is featured on page 24. She states, "Egg Bag, An ostrich egg was the inspiration of this bag, as much for is proportion as for its pleasing elliptical shape". The handbag is made of unusual luminous thick blue fabric with an arching black steel handle. A long black glass bead tassel adorns the front. Her handbags were all handcrafted and made in outrageously small limited editions. The original Hambro tag and price tag are still tucked inside. The price was $400.00. This handbag is VERY RARE! "Rosenfeld" created some of the most incredible collectable handbags and this RARE 50's box purse is one of them. A black suede hexagon shaped box purse with a Limoge porcelain cameo adornment on the lid with the initials (L.C.). The Limoge is surrounded by bright tiny rhinestones. The interior is lined with peach-colored satin with a tiny elastic trimmed sidewall pocket. There is a small oval shaped lit in the inside lid. During the 40's so many ladies with a flair for needlework purchased a crochet handbag booklet and commenced to create their own stunning handbags. Intricate detail went into these wondrous works of art. Many needlework shops also carried a wide variety of Lucite pulls to use as the zipper pull. These labor-intensive handbags are now being recognized as a great handbag to carry today and a rare a wonderful bag to add to your vintage handbag collection. Deep smoky grey crochet half circle clutch trimmed with tine crochet circles. The zipper pull is also a crochet circle. The interior is lined with black taffeta with a small open sidewall pocket. Champagne colored faux pearl were the rage in the 50's and this stunning "Jolles" original used the pearls with a true flair. Within the crossing pearl lines are clusters of soft pink-colored glass seed beads. Along the arching frame is a row of graduating sized pearls in gold metal prong settings.
