(Mint Condition) MINT - As close to "new" as possible for its age. No problems.
(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.

This rare purse has time traveled well and is in excellent condition for being over 60 years old. The front is designed to look like a clock face with roman numerals and a clock hands in brass colored metal. Location in 1969, Susan Gail Handbags, Inc. This is one of the most popular "Susan Gail" handbag designs from the 60's Susan's ACCORDION bag with a with a unique interior frame design. A series of folds in the gussets are not attached to the metal frame and expand wide when open. The double large handles have a sculptural shape. So unique and so rare is this vintage wet-look leather accordion box purse designed by "Caprice" from the 1960's. Originals by Caprice, New York created very unique high styled handbags for the country club ladies since they were quite expensive. Caprice used fine quality leather and many of there handbags were created using exotic skins. This accordion box purse's genuine leather has a wet look sheen, which sets off the solid brass fixtures and arching brass handle.
