(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.

Susan Gail created high-end handbags in the 50's through the 60's and this Susan Gail is one of the most sought after by vintage handbag collectors and is beyond UNIQUE and VERY RARE. The clutch is black genuine leather and a large brass key adorning the top. Simply swivel the key and the clutch opens. The interior is lined with tan genuine leather with a brass zippered sidewall pocket and an open slash pocket. Resting inside the slash pocket is a matching leather coin purse. EXTRAORDINARY! Tucked away and never used is this genuine leather vary rare large travel handbag designed by "Francois" from the late 60's. This well could be a handbag that Francois commissioned Bonnie Cashin to design since it looks like her distinctive design and so different from the space-age look bags that Francois was known for. The black thick-pebbled leather is pristine with two kiss-lock purses adorning the front. The two leather handles are long enough to slip onto your shoulder and carry snuggly under your arm. Runway Chic RARE vintage original Judith Leiber one of the most collectable and wearable handbags today. Judith Leiber's handbags can be found in the handbag collections at the Smithsonian, Metropolitan Museum of Art and The V& A in London. Judith retired in 1998. Judith Leiber handbags are still being created in today's market but Judith Leiber no longer designs the bags. This stunning UNIQUE merlot colored leather handbag has the look of a Leiber handbag since it was designed by Judith herself in the late 60's early 70's. The goring on the front and back complement the huge solid brass latch. The thin leather handles are shoulder length. There is an open compartment on each side of the toggle latch compartment.
