Please remember when buying vintage purses there are normally minor imperfections unless these are very noticable or detract from the style or attractiveness of the item they are not normally mentioned.
LOOKING FOR PERFECTION - VINTAGE IS NOT FOR YOU!
(Mint Condition) MINT - As close to "new" as possible for its age. No problems.
(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.

This unique purse was part of a "Betty Dumoulin" Paris France collection that was designed between 1988 and 1992. The collection comprised of mainly bags in shapes of animals as the dog, the cat and a lot of more. Betty Dumoulin designed two cats " Romeo " and "Juliette". Romeo was on his four legs and Julliette was sitting on her back ... very cute. The collection was distributed only in Japan and are very hard to find. She designed all her handbags in the south of France. Julliette is covered with leopard spotted faux suede with a faux fur tail. The interior is lined with brown genuine suede. MMe. Ida Jolles from Austria created some of the most beautiful petit-point handbags in the 30's and 40's. She also created some of the best novelty handbags in the 60's. & 70's. This Jolles original is shaped as a large kelly and cover with knobby black and brown teed. A adorning the front is a huge sea snail with a glistening black body. The shell is dotted with large red stones. The front is scattered with matching red stones and tiny silver colored flowers. The trap is brown faux leather and is wristlet length. Since Jerry Terrence has started selling his Magic Carpet handbags again for over $300.00 at the finer stores these 60's vintage handbags are now highly sought after. The 1964 film version of Harold Robbins “The Carpetbaggers” inspired Jerry Terrence to use the rugs sold at his family business in the 60’s and was short lived and were discontinued three years later.
