LOOKING FOR PERFECTION - VINTAGE IS NOT FOR YOU!
(Mint Condition) MINT - As close to "new" as possible for its age. No problems.
(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.
(Rest assured I do not sell handbags that are not attractive or fit to carry.)
Most vintage patent have very light scratches visible only if held at a certain angle under strong light.

Such a charming RARE petite black patent box purse from the 50's. Embellishing the front is delicate pink velvet flowers wrapped in clear vinyl depicting a cellophane-wrapped bouquet. Sadly this fabulous designer “Anne Turk” passed away in 1996 of cancer at the age of 61. During her rein as a purse designer in the 80’s Ann and her son Glenn Miller produced some unique high end purses. Elizabeth Taylor, Ivana Trump and Naomi Campbell were her some of her well known clients. The price range of her handbags were around $500.00 and up. Many of her handbags were fashioned after the 1900's “Art Nouveau” period. Leather handbags with elaborate silver metal and gold metal embellishments. Also some were unique novelty purses. Not only did she sell handbags from her show rooms but Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and other high end selected stores carried her extraordinary handbags as well. These special handbags will end up tucked away on purse collector's closets These Glen Miller for Ann Turk purses are meant to be carried and are retro arm candy. This Ann Turk trapezoid shaped shoulder bag was one of her best sellers Black high gloss patent embossed to look like alligatir skin. The latch is a huge gold metal art nouveau embellishment with golden CHERUBS. The etched gold metal shoulder stap is Europran length. This Judith Leiber genuine patent purse is VERY RARE. I have never seen another like it. Judith Leiber was the first woman accepted into the handbag Guild, through her emigration to the United States, where, after several stints working for other handbag manufacturers, she opened her own business in 1963. Her name is now well known for the miniadiure evening bags that command $1,000.00 up to $4,500.00. This handbag is from the early 60's as far as I could research, one of her early designs. Deep dark blue genuine patent leather panels with deep black patent straps. The UNIQUENESS of this petite handbag is the "NUTS AND BOLTS" brass hardware. There is an open storage compartment on each side of the nuts and bolts brass latch compartment. The interior is lined with dark blue grosgrain with a tiny zipper compartment and two slash pockets.
