Please remember when buying vintage purses there are normally minor imperfections unless these are very noticable or detract from the style or attractiveness of the item they are not normally mentioned.
LOOKING FOR PERFECTION - VINTAGE IS NOT FOR YOU!
(Mint Condition) MINT - As close to "new" as possible for its age. No problems.
(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.

These decoupage wood "Wild Cat "box purses from the 70's is featured on page 92 and 93 in "Popular Purses, It's in the Bag" by Leslie Pina and Donald -Brian Johnson. These box purses were kits by “Here's Lookin at You" and the eight-sided Wild Cat purses were the most popular. A spotted leopard is featured on the front, Cougar on the lid and a Lion pride on the backside. The handle is gold-colored Lucite. The interior is lined with matching striped fabric. In the later 70's the polynesian look became very popular and these polynesian DRUM PURSES became the rage to carry. The ends were made of palm wood with woth woven grass cloth paneld decorated with raffa flowes and butterflies. A striking large 70's "Stylecraft" wicker box purse at it's best. Two tones of tan wicker with a 3-demensional wicker horses head. The bridle is brown genuine leather along with the luggage style handle. A large glass marble eye sparkles and catches your own eyes. The interior is orange vinyl. "Betsy B" vintage basket purses are one of my favorites with her decoupage lids that are so pronominal. This lovely basket purse has a beach scene that you can almost feel the sand between your toes. The picnic basket weave is trimmed with faux tan leather and the handle is also wrapped with the faux tan leather. The interior is lined with tan knobby linen.
